Lapha is a pair of basketball shoes designed around you and your needs to perform at your best while playing basketball and reduce the chances of injury.
Lapha makes use of barefoot shoe lasts to eradicate the need to have a ‘break in’ period as they have natural fitment in comparison to other sports shoes. Not only that from using foot pressure mapping we are able to make the shoe not only personal to you and your needs but also improve shock absorption when also paired with Heathcoat Fabrics 3D Spacer.
We can construct a midsole using generative design (Grasshopper) from the data we get from a pressure map. We can also use this approach to have more parameters to input into the code to promote body mechanic correction.
